Jesus’ Appearance is Changed^(A)

²⁸ Now about eight days after Jesus said this,^[a] he took Peter, John, and James with him and went up on a mountain to pray. ²⁹ While he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes turned dazzling white. ³⁰ Suddenly, two men were talking with him. They were Moses and Elijah.
